What does the Initiative aim to achieve?

The mission of the Initiative is to develop schools and early childhood centres as communities where human rights and responsibilities are known, promoted and lived…so that New Zealand can have an education system that reflects and contributes to the realisation of New Zealand’s aspirations, values and international human rights obligations.
